Former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen has been ordered to be remanded until 18th August 2021 over a case linked to the 2019 Easter attacks.
The order was issued by the Fort Magistrate’s Court when Parliamentarian Bathiudeen was produced in court today.
MP Bathiudeen has been detained by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in connection to investigations into the Easter Sunday terror attacks.
He has been in detention under the CID for over 100 days since his arrest in 2020.
